When attending Open Houses, if you are seriously looking for a potential new home, always bring your real estate agent. In the event you decide you’d like to make an offer, your real estate agent is the one you want to have write up your offer. Most Open Houses are hosted by agents representing the sellers. If the seller’s agent writes up your offer for you, be aware that you are likely unrepresented in that situation – or at the least only partially represented – leaving you much less protected should something go wrong.
